GIANTX Adds CyvOph and globeX

GIANTX has added Clement “CyvOph” Millard and Michail “globeX” Kostylew for Intel Monsters Reloaded 2026. The two players complete the lineup that will represent the organization at the offline finals in Istanbul on October 24 and 25. The announcement confirms a tournament roster, while leaving both players’ status for the 2027 season unresolved.

The additions follow the departures of Jesse and neT on October 2. GIANTX retained Flickless, ara and westside, so the team needed two players before its next scheduled competition. CyvOph and globeX fill those places alongside head coach pipsoN, giving the staff a complete five-player group for the Istanbul event.

CyvOph returns to competition after stepping away for family reasons during the second half of the season. He had joined Fnatic as a substitute in May 2026 and later played for Natus Vincere. His appearance for France in the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Grand Finals showmatch kept him connected to the stage, but Monsters Reloaded provides a different test because he is joining a full team environment again.

The move does not establish a permanent transfer for the next VCT cycle. GIANTX announced both players specifically for Monsters Reloaded, and the available reports say their places beyond the event remain unconfirmed. That distinction matters during the offseason, when a short competition can be used to evaluate roles and communication without guaranteeing a long-term contract.

Two different paths lead into the lineup

CyvOph brings recent experience from the highest EMEA level. His route through Fnatic and Natus Vincere exposed him to different team structures before his break. Returning through an offline offseason final gives him a defined competitive target and a compact preparation period rather than an open-ended wait for the next season.

globeX arrives from Barca Esports and the Tier 2 circuit. He helped the Spanish organization win multiple Challengers titles from 2025 onward, building a record in the level directly below VCT partnership competition. Monsters Reloaded now gives him a chance to play within a Tier 1 organization and show how that form transfers to a new roster.

He also has direct history with the event. globeX reached the Monsters Reloaded 2025 grand final while representing CGN Esports, where his team finished behind FUT Esports. That previous run does not predict the new tournament, but it means the setting and pressure of the event are not entirely unfamiliar to him.

GIANTX’s confirmed lineup for the event is Flickless, ara, westside, CyvOph and globeX. pipsoN remains the head coach. The construction preserves three players from the existing group while introducing two additions with different recent backgrounds: one returning from VCT competition and one moving up after a successful Challengers period.

The immediate task is role integration. Both newcomers have been associated with proactive individual play, but a tournament roster still needs clear division of space, utility and late-round responsibility. The announcement confirms who will play; it does not reveal the exact in-game roles or map plans, so those details should be judged only when GIANTX competes.

The offline finals on October 24 and 25 provide a short, measurable window. GIANTX can use the event to assess the lineup under stage conditions, while CyvOph can demonstrate his readiness after time away and globeX can test himself with a Tier 1 organization. None of those opportunities should be presented as a guaranteed contract outcome.

Monsters Reloaded is the confirmed commitment

Offseason roster announcements can easily be mistaken for decisions about the following competitive year. In this case, the wording is narrower. CyvOph and globeX are joining GIANTX to play Monsters Reloaded, and no reliable confirmation places either player on the organization’s 2027 roster.

That limited commitment still carries value. A LAN tournament lets coaches observe communication and adaptation in conditions that practice cannot fully reproduce. It also gives the retained players a chance to test how quickly the new pieces fit around the existing core before larger roster decisions are required.

The responsible reading is therefore straightforward: GIANTX has solved its immediate need for a complete Istanbul lineup. Any extension beyond the event would require a separate announcement. Until then, the tournament performance can inform discussion, but it cannot serve as proof of a permanent signing.

The complete GIANTX event roster enters an offline arena

GIANTX will field CyvOph and globeX with Flickless, ara and westside at Intel Monsters Reloaded. The Istanbul finals mark CyvOph’s competitive return and globeX’s opportunity with a Tier 1 organization. Their participation is confirmed for the event, while the 2027 roster remains an open question.
